While Chicago may be known as a sports town, the city was built on commerce, leading the world in commercial innovation and development in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A major part of that commerce focused on food. For a time, Chicago was said to “feed the world.”

The Exchange 2015 continues that tradition of innovation. Held Wednesday, April 15 at the Hilton Chicago, The Exchange 2015 is the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce’s signature tradeshow, drawing about 1,000 attendees. While it will draw a cross section of exhibitors, including Vertical, Incorporated, the theme Made in Chicago will celebrate Chicago’s excellent food and beverage brands that are locally produced and distributed across the globe.

Whether you’re managing a department within a large organization or planning a start up, you can learn a good deal from the Chicago success stories of Argus Brewery, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Eli’s Cheesecake and Evans Food Group. Their leaders will be keynote panelists, providing real-world advice and insight on growing your business in areas of sourcing, manufacturing, capitalization, marketing and sales.

Spend Wednesday afternoon away from the office and at the Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Avenue. The Exchange 2015 offers fresh thinking and new approaches. You’ll see success through the lens of beer, cheesecake and culinary delights, which is never a bad idea. While you’re there, visit us at the Vertical booth. We look forward to seeing you.
